I think the use of smartboards is a great idea to enhance student learning. My district has purchased a newer form of the smartboard, but I am not sure the name of it. I met with our campus technology supervisor the other day and he showed me how the smartboard works. It was basically like an Ipad on the wall. There are so many uses for so many classes. I think anytime you can make learning interactive for students, it enhances their participation and retention of the material without them even knowing. I also think with the way technology is headed, the more students understand how smartboards work, the more it may help them down the road somewhere.
